Lease Administrator – Studio City, CA

Purpose of the position:

To provide analytic lease accounting support to Property Managers and Accounts Payable and Receivable Staff

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lease Administration Duties

Primary Responsibilities

    • Prepare and update lease abstracts
    • Read and analyze leases. Answer Lease related questions from ACF staff
    • Review lease language and provide analysis of co-tenancy clauses, termination rights, assignment and subleases, Landlord/Tenant responsibilities, etc.
    • Maintain Yardi Database: set-up new Tenants, correct Tenant information, status and dates, all monthly recurring charges (rents, CAM estimates, etc.)

Monthly Responsibilities

    • Holdover rent report and letters to tenants

As Required Responsibilities

    • Review and Draft Acceptance Letters. Follow up on status from Property Managers for deliverance
    • Review/Revise postings and applications in Yardi to ensure accuracy of reporting
    • Set up New Property when purchasing a new entity
    • Assist with drafting Estoppels and SNDAs
    • Prepare due diligence (rent rolls, list of leases, outstanding Tis, commissions, verify lease clauses)

Skills/Requirements

  • 3 years plus- progressive property management accounting experience
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Lease Administration retail property management experience is required
  • Yardi Voyager experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Computerized Phone system (Fonality a plus)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Quick learner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
